Enabling our students to produce their own work that they are passionate about creates stronger and more well-prepared artists, who are capable of advocating and communicating through theatre.
EMPATHY
We believe in the power theatre has to produce empathy in audience members, actors and creators; we see the fundamental lack of empathy in our world and believe in developing it to create compassionate and respectful citizens.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Individuals are accountable for improving the world around them; this includes not shying away from difficult conversations and subject matter. Social justice theatre aids in comprehending and evaluating difficult topics with few, clearly-cut answers.
FUNDRAISING
We are committed to improving our local communities by collecting donations at each production to financially supporting non-profits whose missions align with topics/themes from the shows.
